Our Work in Nepal

Flag and Country of Nepal

Working primarily in the Solo Khumbu (Mt. Everest Region), and areas affected by the 2015 earthquakes such as Kathmandu and Bhaktapur, The Invictus Initiative is committed to partnering with the people of Nepal to bring together the skills and resources needed to initiate sustainable solutions, improve communities, and transform lives.

Nepal is situated north of India in the Himalayas and has some of the world’s highest mountains including Mt. Everest (8,848 m). Nepal can be divided into three ecological zones: the lowland, the midland, and the highland. The mountain region accounts for about 64 percent of total land area. China and India are the two countries that border Nepal.
